Legume Generation and BOKU soybean research were presented at the Protein Innovation Day organized by the Agro Innovation Lab (a Raiffeisen company based at Korneuburg, Austria). Soybean was introduced as the number one source of plant based protein for food and feed. Research needs addressed by the Legume Generation project such as protein quality across European environments and adaptation to climate change were also discussed.
