Legume Generation Presented at Plants for the Future Brokerage Event
On 11 June 2025, the Legume Generation project was presented at the Plants for the Future Symposium and Brokerage Event, held at CRAG (Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics) in Barcelona, Spain, following the association’s General Assembly.
Organised by Plants for the Future, the event brought together researchers and agri-food stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration under upcoming Horizon Europe calls. The symposium provided an overview of research and innovation activities across the plant sector, while the brokerage event focused on networking, consortium building, and creating new synergies for future projects.
As part of the brokerage programme, Darya Chernokova (Euroseeds), introduced the Legume Generation project during a series of short project presentations. The session showcased selected Horizon Europe projects and highlighted their objectives, expertise, and potential areas for collaboration.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of Legume Generation’s work and to connect with stakeholders interested in boosting legume breeding in Europe, including the possibility to join the project`s Innovation Communities.
