The phenotyping of this year´s Legume Generation multilocation field trial for phaseolus bean at the IPK Gatersleben comes to the end. Vignan Kakkerla (see photo) and colleagues from IPK carried out this work, dedicating quite some working days to the task. Once the data for 2026 is available for all test sites, we look forward to continuing the analysis of this biannual trial. We will combine in Legume Generation project the data from 2025 and 2026 for two bean breeding sets – each comprising three sites – with genotyping data in order to identify outstanding genotypes.
